Iranian Cypriot Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral ties international issues

The two sides discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations and international developments.
The Iranian foreign minister, outlining Iran’s positions on regional developments following the United States’ breach of its commitments and the escalation of its aggressive and destabilizing actions in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, stressed the need for all countries to adopt a responsible approach and refrain from any alignment with parties committing aggression and violating the law.
The Cypriot foreign minister, for his part, reaffirmed Cyprus’s commitment to the principles of the UN Charter and international law.
The foreign ministers of Iran and Cyprus also exchanged views on several issues of common interest concerning bilateral relations and regional affairs.
