Foreign Ministers of Iran and Nicaragua hold meeting
Valdrack Ludwing Jaentschke Whitaker the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua who has traveled to Tehran as the representative of his government to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution met on Thursday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Valdrack Ludwing Jaentschke Whitaker, the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua, who has traveled to Tehran as the representative of his government to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met on Thursday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Nicaraguan foreign minister, who was accompanied on his visit to Iran by Xavier Lara Bustamante, President of the Nicaraguan Student Association, conveyed the condolences and solidarity of the President, government, and people of Nicaragua with the government and people of Iran. He offered condolences over the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as a number of Iranian officials and citizens, during the U.S.-Zionist imposed war.
Mr. Whitaker praised the resilience and steadfastness of the Iranian government and people in the face of military aggression and economic pressure, stressing that the government and people of Nicaragua hold deep respect for Iran's principled stance in resisting U.S. bullying and its unlawful pressure against independent countries.
Iran's foreign minister, for his part, expressed appreciation for the sympathy and solidarity shown by the government and people of Nicaragua with the Iranian nation. He underscored the importance of decisive global action to confront the lawlessness and rogue behavior of the United States and the Zionist regime.
The foreign ministers of Iran and Nicaragua also reviewed the course of bilateral relations between Tehran and Managua and emphasized the shared determination of the leaders of both countries to strengthen cooperation across all areas of mutual interest.
