Undoubtedly, security and stability in West Asia and the Red Sea region cannot be achieved without respecting the legitimate rights and dignity of the great people of Yemen.

What is currently happening in Yemen cannot be separated from the developments of the past more than decade. The great and noble people of Yemen, as heirs to a brilliant and historic civilization who have always played a decisive and honorable role in the history of the region and the world, have the right to live a dignified life, free from pressure, intimidation and an unjust blockade, and their national sovereignty and territorial integrity must be fully respected.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, while emphasizing the need to pay attention to the interests of the Islamic Ummah—particularly at a time when the West Asian region is facing the unprecedented evil, oppression and expansionism of the Zionist regime, with the complicity of the United States—points out that issues related to Yemen cannot be resolved through the continuation of the blockade and military alignment.

The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes the need for the immediate resumption of dialogue on the basis of the agreed roadmap and the implementation of its provisions, and is ready to make any good offices efforts in this regard.
