Iranian deputy FM in Japan for talks on bilateral regional issues

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri arrived in Tokyo on Monday at an official invitation of his Japanese counterpart.

 

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ali Bagheri arrived in Tokyo on Monday at an official invitation of his Japanese counterpart.

 

The Iranian deputy foreign minister is scheduled to meet with Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa and Senior Japanese Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Takehiro Funakoshi during the trip.

 

Bagheri will also meet with Japan’s parliamentary officials.

 

The Iranian diplomat is also slated to hold talks with Japanese intellectuals during the visit.

 

Reviewing bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments will be high on the agenda of the talks between the Iranian deputy foreign minister and Japanese officials.
