Iran's foreign minister to visit Oman for regional meeting

Iran's Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, is visiting Oman this week following an official invitation, the foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei announced.
The spokesperson said Araqchi will be attending the 8th Ministerial Meeting of the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), jointly hosted by Oman, India, and Singapore, in Muscat.
The IORA foreign ministerial conference, themed "New Horizons of Maritime Cooperation," gathers high-ranking officials from 20 member countries.
The Iranian foreign minister will participate in the meeting and deliver a speech. He is also scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with the foreign ministers and dignitaries from other countries attending the event.
