Iranian Qatari Foreign Ministers hold phone conversation

 Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, held a phone conversation and exchanged views on Monday evening.

 Iran's Foreign Minister outlined the latest regional developments, particularly the Iran-US negotiations in Islamabad and the continued violation of the ceasefire by the Zionist regime in Lebanon.

 Araghchi emphasized: "The Islamic Republic of Iran, just as it has acted decisively in defending its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, has entered the diplomatic process with a responsible approach to safeguard its national interests and protect regional peace and security."

 The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar underscored his country's support for the continuation of mediating efforts to end the war.
