Iranian Omani Foreign Ministers hold phone talks on ceasefire regional stability

 Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Seyyed Badr al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, held talks and exchanged views on regional developments during a phone call on Monday.

 Iran’s Foreign Minister informed his Omani counterpart about developments related to the ceasefire and the negotiations between Iran and the United States aimed at ending the war in the region.

 Expressing gratitude for Oman’s principled and responsible positions regarding regional developments—particularly the military aggression of the US and Israel against Iran—Araghchi emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s commitment to safeguarding regional peace and stability through cooperation and participation of all regional countries and in the absence of destructive US interference.

 The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman welcomed Iran’s responsible approach in accepting the continuation of the ceasefire and engaging in the diplomatic process, and expressed hope that peace and stability would return to the region as soon as possible.
