Special representative of Lebanese Parliament Speaker and member of Amal Movement leadership meets with Irans Foreign Minister

Khalil Hamdan a member of the leadership of the Amal Movement who has traveled to Tehran as the special representative of Nabih Berri Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament together with a delegation of senior Amal Movement officials to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution met on Saturday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Khalil Hamdan, a member of the leadership of the Amal Movement, who has traveled to Tehran as the special representative of Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, together with a delegation of senior Amal Movement officials to pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met on Saturday afternoon with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Conveying the messages of sympathy and solidarity from Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, and members of the Amal Movement to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the President, the Government, and the people of Iran, Hamdan extended condolences over the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, along with a number of Iranian officials and citizens, during the U.S.-Zionist imposed war.

Khalil Hamdan also expressed appreciation for the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled position in support of Lebanon's territorial integrity and national sovereignty, as well as its commitment to ending the Zionist regime's aggression against the resilient people of Lebanon.

For his part, Foreign Minister Araghchi thanked the special representative of the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament and the Amal Movement delegation for attending the ceremony held to bid farewell to and pay tribute to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

Praising the steadfastness and resilience of the Lebanese people in the face of the Zionist regime's military aggression and threats, Araghchi described the role of Nabih Berri, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, as outstanding in preserving cohesion and unity among Lebanon's various communities against the Zionist enemy's aggression and conspiracies. He also reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran's principled and firm position on the necessity of bringing the Zionist regime's aggression to a definitive end and securing the complete withdrawal of the Zionist occupying forces from Lebanon.
