Iranian Kazakh Foreign Ministers hold phone talks

..

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, held a phone call on Thursday to discuss developments in the West Asia region and the consequences of the US and Israeli regime’s military aggression against Iran.

Iran’s foreign minister, noting the continuation of Iran’s defensive operations against the aggressors’ bases and facilities in regional countries within the framework of the inherent right to self-defense, highlighted the legal and moral responsibility of all countries in the region to prevent the aggressors from using their territory and facilities to carry out aggressive acts against Iran.

Araghchi, elaborating on the crimes committed by the American and Israeli aggressors, stated: “The act of the Israeli regime and the United States in targeting Bandar Anzali has dangerously endangered security and stability in the Caspian Sea, and it is essential that the littoral states adopt a unified and decisive response to this criminal and destabilizing act.”

Kazakhstan’s foreign minister, expressing concern over the current situation and emphasizing the need for the swiftest possible cessation of the imposed war against Iran, declared his country’s readiness to play a role in helping restore stability and security to the region.
