Iranian and Kenyan FMs Hold Phone Talks

Seyed Abbas Araghchi Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran and Musalia Mudavadi Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya held a telephone conversation today Wednesday.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, and Musalia Mudavadi, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kenya, held a telephone conversation today, Wednesday.

 

During the call, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the security situation in West Asia, the consequences of aggressive acts by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran on regional security, as well as the economic repercussions of this situation for other regions.

 

Iran's Foreign Minister, referring to the insecurity imposed on the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz as a result of the US and Israeli regime's military aggression against Iran, stressed the need for decisive international action to uphold the UN Charter and to hold the United States accountable for its lawlessness and the crimes it has committed.

 

The Kenyan Foreign Minister, emphasizing the need to respect national sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and to refrain from the use of force, underscored the importance of diplomacy in establishing peace in the region.
