Iran’s Foreign Minister EU foreign policy chief hold telephone conversation

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Ms. Kaja Kallas, the European Union's foreign policy chief, discussed regional and international developments during a telephone conversation.

 

In the call, Iran’s top diplomat briefed Ms. Kallas on the latest positions and initiatives of the Islamic Republic regarding the cessation of the imposed war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, as well as the establishment of peace in the region.

 

The EU foreign policy chief, expressing concern over the security and economic repercussions of continued tensions in the region, reaffirmed the Union’s principled stance in support of diplomacy aimed at achieving sustainable peace and security in the region.
