Iranian Congolese Foreign Ministers meet in Tehran

Constant Serge Bounda Foreign Minister of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) who has traveled to Tehran to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution met on Friday with Seyed Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Constant Serge Bounda, Foreign Minister of the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville), who has traveled to Tehran to attend the ceremony honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met on Friday with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Congolese foreign minister conveyed the condolences and solidarity of the President, government, and people of the Republic of the Congo with the government and people of Iran, offering condolences over the martyrdom of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, as well as a number of Iranian officials and civilians, during the U.S.-Israeli imposed war.

Referring to the abundant capacities and opportunities available in African countries, including the Republic of the Congo, the Congolese foreign minister underscored the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation across various fields and benefiting from Iran's scientific and technological capabilities.

For his part, Foreign Minister Araghchi thanked the government and people of the Republic of the Congo for their sympathy and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as for the country's valuable positions in support of Iran in international forums. He also emphasized the special commitment of Iran's Leader and President to expanding and deepening relations with African countries.
